Activating your Deliverect integration
Follow the steps below if you already have a Deliverect account or are looking to sign up and start using it.
Existing Deliverect customers
If you already have an account with Deliverect, just reach out to your Deliverect Account Manager and request their assistance to enable ChatFood as a channel in your account.
I don't have a Deliverect account yet
If you don't have a Deliverect account, you can create one by signing up on their website. Once your account is created, simply ask your Deliverect Account Manager to active ChatFood as a channel.
Once the integration is activated on your Deliverect dashboard and your menu is pushed into ChatFood, new orders will be sent to your Deliverect dashboard.
When you enable Deliverect with one of your outlets, all new orders received from your direct channels are sent to your Deliverect dashboard. From there you can accept and manage the orders, and the updates will be synced both to your POS and your ChatFood dashboard so your customers are always updated about their order status.
Having your orders directly synced with your POS also saves operational time spent punching orders and reduces manual errors.
If you currently work with a logistics partner that is integrated with ChatFood, but not yet available on your Deliverect dashboard, you must continue to request the drivers from your ChatFood dashboard. You can do this by clicking on the button to request a driver available on the order card.
Overriding order management
To ensure that orders are not missed in case of any issues after connecting the integration, you can choose to dismiss the overlay bar that hides the action buttons in the order card so you can accept and manage the orders.
⚠️ This option should only be used in case of any issues that prevent the orders to be managed on Deliverect. If you're having trouble activating your integration, please contact our team and we'd be happy to help.
With your Deliverect integration active, your menus must be managed inside the Deliverect dashboard. That way, your items, and modifiers are synced with your POS and reduce chances of failure when syncing orders.
When accessing any page inside the menu module a banner is displayed to reminds you and/or your team of the reason why the action buttons are disabled.
Your inventory is managed inside the Deliverect dashboard, so when you mark items as out of/in stock, they are automatically synced and the changes are applied in your ChatFood account.

Can I have a menu exclusive for my direct channels on my Deliverect account?
Yes, you can create a menu with different prices and exclusive products and sync it only with your ChatFood account to make it available in your direct channels.
